The men and women of the Kendallville Police Department would
like to thank you for your interest in our department. The goal
of this department is to work with the citizens of our city to
prevent crime, reduce traffic related problems, and to make
Kendallville an even safer place to live and work.
The members of the Kendallville Police Department are
continually looking for better ways to work for and with the
citizens of Kendallville. We encourage you to talk with the
members of our department regarding the needs of the city and
how we, as a department, can be more effective Partners With The
Community.
Full-time
Officer position open
The Kendallville Police Department currently has an opening
for a full-time Police Officer. Applicants must be at
least 21 years of age at the time of appointment. Initial
requirements are a minimum of a high school diploma or
equivalent, valid driver's license or the ability to obtain one
prior to hiring, and ability to pass a written examination and
physical fitness assessment. A comprehensive background
investigation, voice stress examination, interview board and
other procedures will be required for those continuing through
the process. Applications will be available at the
Kendallville Police Dispatch Center or can be downloaded
here.
Applications must be turned in at the Dispatch Center or
returned by certified mail to Kendallville Police Department,
Officer Application, 234 S. Main Street, Kendallville, IN
46755 by August 11, 2008. Applications for Reserve Police
Officers are also available at the Kendallville Police Dispatch
Center on a continuing basis.

It is mission of the Kendallville Police Department to provide

partnership with the community. We, the members of the
Kendallville Police, believe that our work has vital impact on
the quality of life in our community. To demonstrate our
