Police Officer Position Opening
The Kendallville Police Department currently has an opening for a full-time Police Officer.  Aplicants must be at least 21 years of age, but not more than 35 years of age at time of appointment.  Initial requirements are a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, valid Indiana Drivers license or the ablility to obtain one prior to hiring, and ability to pass a written examination and physical fitness assessment.  A comprehensive background investigation, voice stress examination, interview board and other procedures will be required for those continuing through the process.  Applicants currently certified in Indiana or those able to secure a waiver through the Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board will be given additional consideration.  Applications will be available at the Kendallville Police Dispatch Center or can be downloaded here.  Applications must be turned in at the Dispatch Center no later than November 6, 2015 or returned by U.S. Mail postmarked no later than November 6, 2015 to:
